About the team:
The Global Workplace Strategy Leader is responsible for the planning and delivery of developing Worldpay’s future of work program. This includes development of standards, metrics using research, employee feedback and data to deliver office Fit-out projects. This includes ensuring that WP’s design principles and the process &
governance are followedand incorporated in all phases of the project. Seeking a relentless trendsetter with experience in the latest in workplace innovation and technology to better service the business.
What you will be doing:
Successful execution of workplace office fit-out projects for all Worldpay locations.
Lead and manage the creation of the overall workplace strategy, space standards, and experience standards playbooks
Identify future requirements of Worldpay’s offices in conjunction with Area Real Estate Leaders
Tell the workplace story and support business direction
Develop and lead change management
Contribute to business case development
Oversee all phases of the project with responsibilities including but not limited to:
managing the local Project/Cost Managers’ performance, controlling the approved budget, approving procurement strategy, reviewing drawings, acting as first point of approval for all design &
procurement activities and facilitating approvals from the relevant internal stakeholders.
Establish and manage stakeholder expectations for the workplace transformation
Accountable for successful implementation of design and construction workplace projects - from initiation to closeout across the area to Global RE team, regional, country, and local leadership and project teams and committees.
Act as the main point of contact between the business and project team on all workplace related matters. Act as a trusted business advisor and strategic partner to internal stakeholders advising on all project matters as the real estate expert.
Resolve issues arising from the project and escalate as/if required.
Drive and deliver Workplace initiatives and strategies as part of the broader Global team.
Regularly connect with the wider RE team, share knowledge and encourage consistency.
Drive value generation for the projects through delivering cost savings, cost avoidance, brand value and others.
Help drive Sustainability, Wellness and Agility in the RE portfolio through implementation in the relevant projects.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and relevant Health &
Safety standards.
Ensure the application of consistent processes and policies to projects, ensuring escalation of compliance or risk issues in line with process &
governance.
Help drive the Global RE agenda and contribute to goals setting and achieving targets.
Develop, implement, maintain, and be accountable for Global Executive management workplace project reporting both to stakeholders and wider RE team.
Maintain an agreed Risk Management reporting process for each critical phase and milestone of all projects – including fiscal management, time management, critical date management, and stakeholder management – and establish visibility with key stakeholders.
Manage the performance of the selected Project Management Framework partners, and any other relevant Master Services Agreements.
Constantly share external best practices with the RE team and drive their own personal development.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Minimum 5 years senior management experience in Design &
Construction related professions, within professional services or large Multi-National corporations
Demonstrated experience in managing multicultural and virtual internal &
external teams
Tertiary qualified in a related discipline with preference given to Degree and Master qualified candidates
Demonstrated experience in delivering large and diverse office projects across multiple geographies
Knowledge of facilities functions and procedures, i.E., building codes, electrical systems, furniture, space design, building materials, real estate
Knowledge of security procedures
Knowledge of project management methods and techniques
Proficiency to supervise, lead and manage effectively staff members Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization, e.G., executive, management, individual contributors
Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline
Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
Proficiency to operate independently
