Surge unit at NCG Associates. As a Direct Hire RN in Telemetry/Med &
Surge, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients in the Telemetry/Med &
Surge unit
Monitor and analyze patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date records
Respond to changes in patients' conditions and notify the appropriate healthcare professionals
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Assist with activities of daily living as needed
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices through continued education
Requirements
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Telemetry/Med &
Surge nursing
Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing principles and practices
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to interpret and analyze telemetry readings
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years
