Job Description
The Director, Digital Advertising &
Partnerships, will be responsible for driving our LATAM streaming and digital advertising sales efforts via sales strategies and partnerships. We’re looking for an exceptional, results-oriented individual who uniquely combines the interpersonal skills to act as a primary liaison between NBCU and our new, established, and emerging partners with the quantitative skills to analyze and grow the business. The Director, Digital Advertising &
Partnerships will work with our sales teams, product teams, content teams, and other NBCU stakeholders to manage and drive our digital revenue growth across Latin America.
Job Duties:
Drive monetization strategy efforts across LATAM markets by identifying profitable revenue opportunities, demonstrating commercial negotiation expertise, and a strong foundation in deal development and management.
Develop partnerships with new, established, and emerging partners as well as maintain solid vendor relationships required to support such monetization.
Delivery of sales targets:
responsible for managing and reaching assigned digital ad sales targets.
Digital go-to-market strategy:
responsible for developing and executing plans necessary to capture sales growth opportunities through ongoing operations, including programmatic strategy implementation.
Cultivate strong relationships:
develop and maintain C-level relationships to expand NBCU’s presence.
Collaborate and communications:
work cross-functionally to strengthen existing business operations, ensuring seamless execution of new monetization initiatives. Additionally, communicate the vision and status of strategic initiatives to team and senior executives.
KPI management:
In addition to sales targets, will be responsible for identifying and tracking additional key performance indicators to measure success and drive progress.
Operationalize new partner monetization products and capabilities with partners and within NBCU;
chart operational processes and educate the broader sales team on new offerings.
Digital Road Map:
Collaborate with the product team to design the digital road map to prepare for our streaming business (e.G., necessary ad formats, ad rules, capabilities, integrations, etc.)
Process Improvements:
Provide strategic and tactical rule sets for ad insertion logic and waterfall logic and follow up implementation with the technology and operations team.
Systems and tools:
Demonstrate an understanding of key ad sales, planning and financial systems (e.G. CRM, NBCU Internal budgeting systems) and tools.
Technology &
industry trends:
Keep abreast of technology/media industry trends and market conditions.
Talent management and team development:
Demonstrate strong leadership skills by coaching, inspiring, and guiding the digital ad sales team and building a high performing culture.
Change management:
Critical in the transformation of the mindset of our teams and educating internal partners and colleagues in all things digital as we transform the business for the future.
