Digital Marketing Intern

Shippers Supply, Inc. is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team in Hopkins, Minnesota for the summer. As an independently owned and operated wholesale company, Shippers Supply has been providing packaging equipment, materials solutions, and supplies throughout the upper Midwest since 1928. Join our marketing team and gain hands-on experience in digital marketing. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and basic knowledge of SEO and SEM is a plus. This paid internship offers valuable exposure to real-world marketing strategies and practices.
Monday-Thursday, 8am-4:
30pm, in-office
If chosen candidate wants 40 hours (+ Friday), that can be discussed.
Key Accountabilities
Support various marketing initiatives, launch new product categories to the web and gain practical experience in areas such as digital marketing, merchandising and content development.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing programs and campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Update various PDF’s of products and equipment with new branding then load, display these on the website.
Assist with the sourcing and creation of product attributes for PDP’s.
All other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
Required to sit much of the day interfacing with phones, computers, and other office equipment in a normal office environment.
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
Strong interest in marketing, ecommerce and eagerness to learn and develop new skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and platforms, such as social media, email marketing, and content management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
