Job Description
We are seeking a part-time graphic design intern to join our team. The graphic design intern will be responsible for creating compelling visual assets that meet the unique needs of 10-plus companies. This will include logos for business cards, catalogs, brochures, and presentations. The position will require a minimum of 16 hours per week with an opportunity to expand into a full-time role.
Key responsibilities:
Create visually compelling designs including logos, business cards, catalogs, brochures, and presentations.
Create graphics that showcase the identity of each specific company.
Collaborate with team members to understand company requirements and project objectives.
Interpret brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all design projects.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques
Assist with other design-related tasks as needed to support team objectives.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
Examples of work done for different types of clients or industries.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
Demonstrated creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to stay updated with design trends and implement them in projects.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to take and incorporate feedback effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
Experience with responsive web design and knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a nice to have.
