Who You Are:
You are an experienced and adaptable Dental Assistant, who partners well with fellow team members and doctors. You thrive in fast paced environments, ready to start your day when you arrive and are surprised at the end of the day at how fast it went by. You get to know your patients by active listening and also have the ability to read non-verbal cues and adjust care accordingly. You are self-motivated, accountable and a lifelong learner.
Requirements
Patient Examination and Doctor Support:
take impressions and x-rays as needed, chart and document all notes pertaining to the patient during the exam and treatment. Anticipate the Doctor’s needs and be fully prepared. Use creativity and imagination to ease and encourage anxious or timid patients.
Periodontics Assistance:
Assist doctor with surgical procedures related to gums, tissue, bone and implants by operating secondary and tertiary equipment required for a given procedure. Pre-read patients’ charts, chart new information or follow-up care requirements and anticipate procedural needs.
Office and Patient Management:
manage the days’ schedule, keeping a smooth flow of patients and minimizing patient wait times. Assist in front office administration, gather consent forms as required and understand patient insurance eligibility.
Treatment room maintenance and sterilization.
Promote Dental Health Education and aftercare to all patients, parents and guardians.
Stay up to date on all compliance, safety and licensure training and requirements.
What You'll Bring:
DA or RDA License, X-Ray Certificate and experience are a big plus but will gladly consider a new graduate to come and learn with us.
Coronal polishing certificate preferred.
Ability to identify and regulate one's emotions and understand the emotions the others to build relationships, reduce team stress, defuse conflict and improve personal job satisfaction.
A devotion to serving your patients and reliably showing up for your team.
Benefits
Full-Time Opportunity (3-4 days a week), (must be able to work Saturdays).
Monday - 10 am to 6 pm
Tuesday - 10 am to 6 pm
Thursday - 7 am to 2 pm
Saturday - 7 am to 2 pm
From $23-$25 per hour depending on experience.
401(k) and up to a 4% match.
