I Song Orthodontics is looking for a FUN and energetic Part-Time Sterile Technician that has a desire to grow with our Albany, CA Orthodontics practice.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for decontamination and cleaning of all equipment and instruments;
ensures cleanliness andsterility of all instruments
Accurately assembles instruments sets based on established count sheets;
effectively uses materials and supplies while minimizing waste
Appropriately prepares and packages single instrument items, differentiating items requiring steam versus gas sterilization
Stores, delivers, and manages sterile supplies using aseptic technique
Evaluates functioning of equipment;
reports malfunction follows through to ensure appropriate repairs are complete and maintenance performed preventing future damage
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing treatment rooms after each use
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong verbal communication skills
Physically capable of transporting supplies and equipment
Must have basic computer skills
Knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology preferred
Prioritize multiple demands and requests to maintain patient flow
Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members as needed
