SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Supply Chain VP, this role leads decision-making process for demand &
inventory planning withall cross-functional teams, working closely with other departments, sales, marketing &
product management, service and accounting to meet company objectives. The role develops inventory planning strategy for the US warehouses, ensuring the regional demand and fill rate of 95% is achieved on the top 25 SKU’s, 90% fill rate on all others, while keeping the aged inventory and overall working capital at optimum levels. The role has direct impact on company main objectives of 1) Being a reliable Supplier 2) Being easy to business with 3) Profitably revenue growth. Key KPI’s metrics include;
on time and accurate ETA’s;
maintaining appropriatesafety stock to in country to support growth;
minimizing aged inventory;
maximizing working capital by achieving higher inventory turnover. The Demand and inventory planner play’s a critical role in having the right product, in the right place at the right time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The role is responsible for defining inventory planning strategy, inventory days, reorder points, etc and manages inventory on hand accordingly while ensuring company growth &
financial targets are met with maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
· Collects and analyses past / future demand inputs (such as distribution gains / losses, price changes, new / discontinued products and promotion plans) from sales and marketing, and incorporates their impacts on demand planning, and plans the inventory accordingly
· The role understands business &
demand drivers, orchestrates forecasting process and works with all necessary parties to improve forecasting accuracy while achieving in stock KPI’s of 95% on the top 25 SKU’s and 90% in stock on all others
· Ensures that demand is fulfilled in full and on time, and the order management activities are performed according to customers’ requirements and deadlines
· Works with various cross-functional departments on projects such as new product launches, discontinuations, and transitions, makes sure products are supplied according to projected NPI timelines
· Generates reports to illustrate stocks, capacity, production plans, shipment schedules, potential risk and resources required to expand business
· Identifies demand and supply gaps and risks of shortages, takes necessary actions to mitigate them and communicated to all necessary business partners
· Formalizes, aligns with leadership and communicates a weekly stock transfer process, to all Beko team members to ensure accurate on time stock movements such as transfers between warehouses, scrap, rework and revaluation planning
· Manages warehouse capacity requirements according to company growth targets, plans capacity increases of warehouses and 3PL’s
· Ensures warehousing costs &
invoices are in line with agreements and current stock levels and solves disputes with 3PLs
· Manages physical stock counts every year and takes necessary actions and ensure that the disputes are resolved
· Maintains SKU based ETA information to the stock and shares with necessary parties
· Identifies obsolete stock risks, works collaboratively with Product Marketing, Sales and Finance to initiate a plan to sell out obsolete stock
· Measures, analyzes, monitors and communicates key performance indicators such as inventory days, aged stock ratio, OTIF, etc. while driving continuous improvement
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or equivalent, master’s and/or MBA degree preferred.
· +5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain and logistics functions are a must
· Technical knowledge in demand &
inventory planning is needed
· Strong knowledge of software used to support key functional areas in the supply chain;
knowledge in SAP-ERP and other systems related with SC processes is preferred
· Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is needed
· Advanced knowledge in data analysis to analyze costs, inventory, and other data is needed
· Exceptional analytical, organizational, and planning skills needed to optimize and drive efficiency in the end-to-end supply chain.
· Decision making, problem solving skills, ability to drive communication between all cross functional teams is needed
· Strong knowledge of data analysis and operations metrics is needed
· Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment is needed
