Database Management Specialist

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a Database Management Specialist for employment in Omaha, Nebraska. This person may be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases that support packaged/commercial software as well as custom developed applications. Also includes the development and design of database strategies, monitoring and improving database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements.
This position is expected to begin in August/September 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate with other project team members for environmental sampling event planning, electronic field data collection, laboratory data management and production of data products (tables, graphics, maps, statistical analysis).
Interface with laboratories and internal project teams.
Generate and/or review electronic data deliverables of analytical data and/or field information.
Maintain work quality, quantity, and efficiency at or above company standards.
Be responsible for timeliness and accuracy of data workflow and products.
Reporting and coordinating the proper deliverables including EQuIS EDDs.
Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories.
Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
Perform data review and validation for multi-media data.
Ensure project-specific data requirements are met.
Manage data flow from the laboratory to final reporting.
Coordinate with end user to define data quality requirements and to help assure that data are usable and meet end-use objectives.
