Control Risks is hiring for a Data Engineer to support a Fortune 50 technology client of ours. This role will including data processing, data analytics, and creation of data visualizations;
to develop the data pipeline and data lake needed to develop dashboards;
building out data analytics capabilities and developing dashboards to the needs and requirement of the client, as specified by the client Project Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Collect and understand data requests.
Building SOPs for gathering data and searching specific systems.
Develop data pipeline, including ETL procedures, regular data refresh schedules, automated data model input-output from data ingestion, data preparation, filtering, and calculation, to end results export processes.
Investigative data analysis, pulling and reconciling data across multiple systems / platforms.
Regular control monitoring report resolutions. Building out data analytics capabilities and developing dashboards to the needs and requirement of the client.
Requirements
4 to 6 years of prior data engineer / analyst experience.
Advanced SQL Server based analysis skills, advanced Python skills, extensive hands-on experience with Pandas.
Advanced skillset in using Javascript. ETL, Complex Joins, Functions, Stored Procedures, Loops.
The ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.).
Experience assessing data integrity (completeness, accuracy, explaining impact of data integrity on decisions/assumptions).
Experience examining and evaluating processes and information systems, recommending controls to ensure reliability and data integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
