Data Analyst

Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves engaging with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating these into actionable technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical skills and a deep understanding of business processes. You will utilize tools like Laserfiche and Power BI to enhance operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and lead the way in our digital transformation efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Engagement, Communication, and Translation
Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs.
Serve as a liaison between business units and IT, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for the IT team.
Technical Support and QA
Perform technical tasks such as querying SQL databases for data validation and analysis.
Manage QA processes and user feedback, including initial troubleshooting and defect management.
Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and other tools to provide actionable insights.
Process Improvement and Training
Identify pain points in business processes and use tools like Laserfiche to create solutions.
Design and implement electronic forms and automated workflows to enhance efficiency.
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on new systems, processes, and tools.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and technical solutions.
Project and Change Management
Act as the Scrum Master for the IT team, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Plan and coordinate Agile projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Promote a culture of change management within the organization, helping to manage transitions effectively.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
Experience with process improvement and automation tools like Laserfiche.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in agriculture, food processing, or the pistachio industry.
