Responsibilities:
Provide instructional materials left by the permanent teacher and ensure that the class continues to run smoothly in their absence.
Manage classroom behaviors using effective, nurturing techniques that promote a safe and stimulating environment for all students.
Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to deliver daily learning goals effectively.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students during the day.
Maintain a professional attitude and work ethic while fostering a positive learning environment.
Report any student issues and classroom occurrences to school administration.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Certification in Early Childhood Education
Experience in a classroom management setting preferred but not required
