Customer Service Representative 1st Shift
Work Schedule 8am- 5pm Monday through Friday
$22.00/hour

Our Customer Service team is responsible for providing outstanding customer service that builds customer relationships and has a positive impact on repeat sales. This role supports our sales department who are charged with growing both our distributor and OEM sales in a business to business sales model.
The varied duties of this role allow candidates to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include:
Enter and process orders received via phone, fax and e-mail.
Field customer questions and inquiries regarding order status, problem-solve with internal departments to meet those customer needs, and communicate solutions back to maintain customer satisfaction.
Provide information to customers and potential customers regarding products, pricing, and service. Refer more complex questions to appropriate staff.
Perform daily cross check of prior days order entry to identify and correct any errors.
Perform daily invoicing, bill of lading, and preparation of export papers as needed.
Record and correct customer complaints, issue credit memos when needed.
Calculate and reconcile customer credits and rebates.
Prepare customer bids/renewals.
Process freight claims for lost or damaged freight.
Prepare and provide reporting as required, including daily sales report, AR and trace sales tracking.
Perform general clerical duties such as sorting mail, general filing, and updating customer files.
Maintain Sales Rep and Customer contact information, perform new rep and customer set ups.
Perform front office receptionist duties including operating the switchboard, directing all incoming business calls, and receiving guests.
Assist Sales or Marketing Department with special projects and regular mailings.
Trains as back-up on Amazon orders and EDI processes.
May assist Accounting Department with entering freight charges and receivables.
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Degree in business management or closely related discipline with a minimum 2 year of work experience in customer service setting or High School Diploma with equivalent work experience. Experience in a manufacturing business to business customer service role preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements:
Sit up to 95% of the time
Mental/visual stamina (phones and computer)
Ability to adapt to various situations and learn quickly
Ability to handle pressures of unpleasant callers and a varied volume of calls each day

Administrative Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Starting pay is $22/hour with a review and raise after 3 months, on your one year anniversary and annually thereafter.
