Job Description
Strong customer service oriented professional that is responsible for developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with both internal and external customers. Possess flexibility within a team environment or individually with minimal supervision in a fast paced culture.
- Professional etiquette dealing both in face-to-face communication as well as via telephone and email
- Support launch of customer delivery creation at warehouse
- Communication with both internal and external customers
- Heavy telephone and email communication to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and update when deviations occur
- Daily customer order pick creation
- Entry level material planning
- Drive to seek resolution to variances by going to the source
- Transportation scheduling for both daily and expedite services utilizing customer websites and freight forwarding websites
- Office duties:
filing, faxing, scanning
- Maintain and abide by records retention procedures per Central Directives
- Knowledge of what an escalation processes is and reasons
- Ability to problem solve utilizing the 5 Why's or 8D formats
- A team player that can effectively back up others as needed
- Other duties as assigned
