Job Description Summary
A Customer Operations Account Manager is responsible for the overall sales operations functions including order and backlog management, customer inquiries on supply, issue resolution related to areas of business such as shipments and/or pricing.
Could be involved in special projects, data gathering and issue resolution.
Job Description
Manage booked backlog of incoming EDI/manual orders to fulfillment.
Where supply is misaligned to the customer request date of orders, work with supply planning team for improvements
Communicate delivery expectations to customers
Obtain necessary shipment documents on an as needed, as requested basis
Be able to communicate expected shipment attainment based on delivery expectations and incoterms
Assist in activities related to incoterms, payment terms, credit and credit holds, quality holds, End-of-Life statuses, channel inventory, new customer sold to/ship to locations, packing or shipping instructions changes, sample requests, ERP system changes, etc.
Act as liaison/partner between internal teams (sales, business unit(s), logistics, finance, IT, supply planning) to accomplish objectives set forth internally or externally by the customer.
Assist with customer onboarding.
