Custodian - 2nd Shift

Job Description
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the facility and production area.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Empties and cleans wastebaskets, trash cansetc. on nightly basis.
Vacuums and cleans carpet as needed in assigned areas (rideon vacuums and backpack vacuums)
Sweeps, wet mops and scrubs floors as needed (if assigned to operate auto-scrubber/ manual wet mop.)
Dusts and cleans all types of furniture, shelves, partitions, walls, ledges, doors and door frames, fixtures, and miscellaneous manufacturing equipmenton a regular basis.
Cleans glass doorsand windows.
Cleans and sanitizes washrooms, usingcleaningchemicals (to include restocking various dispensers), shower rooms, fixtures, floors, and walls on a nightly basis.
Keeps daily equipment in good running order, to include making minor fixes as needed.
Reports to the Custodial Lead/Maintenance Manager for dailyassignments.
Assist with setups and breakdown of conferences/meeting rooms
Performs other duties as assigned – includingfurniture moving, window cleaning, changing light bulbs, changing ceiling tiles, etc.
