The Strategic Lending Partnerships (SLP) Credit Card Operations Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and coordinating operations related to the Bank’s fintech card programs. The SLP Credit Card Operations Manager works closely with the card networks, processors, fintech partners, and SLP Relationship Managers, to ensure effective operation and oversight of our fintech-sponsored card programs. This includes, but is not limited to, implementation of new card programs, integration efforts with processors, fintech partners, and card networks, enhancement and analysis of reporting capabilities, relationship management, evaluation of new opportunities, and ongoing oversight of existing programs.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the implementation of new card programs with key 3rd-parties including card networks, fintech partners, and processors.
Develop processes and procedures to collect, maintain and continually update the necessary documentation for existing card programs.
Develop processes and procedures for managing, tracking, and executing on required initiatives from card networks.
Serve as SME within bank on card products, trends, developments, and opportunities within the card space.
Interact with Compliance and each respective department within the Bank or third-party resource that is required for ongoing oversight, product testing, and monitoring of bank-sponsored card programs.
Prepare product-level performance and tracking reports on a monthly basis.
Work with the Bank’s accounting functions to Coordinate and manage billing and invoicing of applicable network fees.
Interact with the Bank’s Compliance dept., card networks, and the Strategic Partner to manage the resolution and reporting of customer complaints related to the bank’s card programs.
Support Bank management during regulatory exams or internal audits.
Actively engage in research, ongoing training, and educational opportunities to ensure relevant knowledge within the card industry is maintained.
Engage with industry participants to source and evaluate technologies to drive efficiencies and enhance bank oversight capabilities for card programs.
Engage in special projects and new bank initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of consumer and/or commercial financing experience primarily focused on operations of consumer and commercial private-label or bank card products. Experience working with a card processor is a plus.
Proficiency in card network systems such as MC Connect and Visa Online is highly desired.
Assertive self-starter, with exceptional professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned projects.
Good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well in a team or on an individual basis.
Proven experience in project management, specifically related to card products.
Knowledge of the current banking regulatory environment and card network rules.
Excellent ability to analyze complex issues and identify suitable solutions.
Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues. Flexibility to balance and respond to competing needs within the organization.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Work Model:
The employee in this position will work either a fully Onsite, Hybrid or Remote work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.

Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period in our Salt Lake City, Utah office – department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
