JOB DETAILS
Base Pay:
$18.00 per hour, plus $1.25 shift differential per hour for 2nd shift and $1.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift
2nd Shift:
Monday-Friday, 3 pm-11 pm
3rd Shift:
Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7 am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate assists in the warehouse by crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks. Associate ensures that orders are filled accurately for customer satisfaction;
ensures cartons shippedare structurally sound and suitable for sale by visually inspecting cartons, repairing and reboxing as needed.
Assist with the following aspects of warehouse operation:
crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks
Load loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipment
Collect wood product for the set-up and construction of crates
Build crates from wooden materials around cartons of product in preparation for shipment by flatbeds
Repair or reseal damaged cartons, or rebox product when necessary
Consolidate all accessory and siding products on storage racks when needed
Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment
Perform warehouse maintenance and warehouse housekeeping
Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Attend scheduled staff meetings with Distribution Supervisor, if necessary
Perform basic duties of Warehouse associate 2 at times, based upon ability and experience
Maintain an accurate time card daily and calculate on a weekly basis
Actively participate in all plant safety programs, depending on location
