CPA Tax Manager - $120,000 per year + bonus

We are seeking a dynamic CPA Tax Manager for a full-time position in Wakefield, MA, offering a base salary up to $120K plus bonus. This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work on Monday and Friday. Responsibilities:

Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers
Conduct tax research projects
Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status and client opportunities
Provide training, direction, and supervision to the team
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization

Qualifications:

BSBA in accounting
CPA credentials and/or other advanced degree required
8+ years of experience in public accounting
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax
