Cost Accountant

Snap-Tite Hose, a leading manufacturer of high-quality fire, agricultural, and industrial hoses, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team. This is a rapidly growing company, and this will be a key role in supporting that growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and administer a plan for tracking actual costs to budget or plan and prior year(s).
Support Business Decisions:
integrate cost analysis and other information to provide crucial data on inventory control, activity-based costing, and operational performance.
Oversee inventory control function and assist with physical inventory audit.
Manage supplier relationships for the execution of purchase orders.
Manage invoice approval process, AP escalation process, and problem resolution.
Prepare monthly journal vouchers, month-end analysis and account reconciliations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting or Analyst role role, preferably in a large manufacturing environment
Competency Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate well in English.
Proven experience of accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with SAP or GP preferable, other ERP experience can be substituted.
Excellent skills are required in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Demonstrated proficiency and experience in handling large volume of data.
