Position Objective The Corporate Training Specialist / Coordinator is a highly visible position that develops, deploys, manages, and improves the Bestbath corporate training program.
The person in this role needs to be highly energetic, and collaborative with a high degree of emotional intelligence relating to people.
This role is responsible for co-creating and delivering content across a variety of topics including product knowledge, technical skills, soft skills, and development of professional leadership for all levels of the organization.
As such, you will work as a key contributor and collaborative liaison between the corporate training department and all other departmental teams.
A critical element for the Corporate Training Specialist / Coordinator will be the management of the entire learning system at Bestbath.
Key portions of that system include scheduling and accurate record keeping of employee training.
This role will be responsible to partner and collaborate with all departments to understand any learning needs or gaps, and assist to fill those gaps.
In collaboration with department SME's, this position will be a key resource to expand the Bestbath library of educational courses for in-person and online consumption with a large emphasis on effectiveness, structure, and applicability.
Specific Job Duties /
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed training content with all departments for assigned learning curriculum, combining industry knowledge &
experience with technical skills and the art of instructional design / delivery for adult learners. This is done by integrating the content requirements from departmental stakeholders, SME's, SOP's, and other documentation, blended with organizational needs for succession planning and overall growth of capability. - Support evolution of best practice learning programs, working with Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, Executive Leadership, Technical Services and IT teams to ensure that customer &
company needs are accurately represented in both content and in the knowledge transfer process. - Translate English to Spanish course curriculum, create visuals, illustrations, and other documentation for marketing &
promoting class offering. - Leverage technology to create, manage, and make accessible any digital training content for out of state and 24 hour access.
- Coordinate class enrollment by assigning courses, maximizing class sizes, scheduling training rooms in advance, marketing course availability, and handling all aspects of record management after trainings are completed.
- Owner of the
Learning Lab:
equipment, layout, readiness of the room, supplies, refreshments, cleanliness, etc.
- Owner of LMS platform by structuring and managing it, ensuring smooth system functionality, clean flow of information, integrity of data, and availability of content. Responsible for making sure employees know how to access and properly use the LMS.
- Train trainers in standardized education methodologies for consistency and continuity, eg aid with the use of Job Instruction (JI) throughout the company.
- Partners with HR for continuing education &
scholarship programs. - Assess and improve both curriculum and feedback surveys for greater effectiveness.
- Identify training gaps in departments by providing gap closure recommendations.

- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish with oral and written fluency
- A bachelor's degree, or combination of education and 5+ years of professional relatable manufacturing work experience
- Experience with instructional content design Experienced in developing highly interactive and engaging training content across multiple disciplines
- Prior work experience in corporate training specifically with insights to training system best practices preferred
- Proven and effective classroom educator, with a behavior background preferred (human development)
