Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial information, managing the accounting department, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Lead the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions.
Evaluate and manage financial risks, ensuring appropriate measures are in place.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities for the accounting team.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including tax filings and statutory reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
CPA or CMA certification required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
