Job Description
General Purpose of Job:

and engage in a lifetime of learning by collecting, managing, and reporting data. The Testing, Assessment, and Accountability Coordinator is responsible for:
managing the data collection process;
managing the data system;
enhancing the process for communicating student outcomes;
and producing custom reports.
Job Summary:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following essential duties:
Provide Strategic Leadership by:
Aligning function with mission and core values of the organization.
Developing and communicating shared vision for area of responsibility.
Planning and executing continuous improvement processes for area of responsibility.
Provide Performance Leadership by:
Developing staff and/or individual capacity to apply technical/functional expertise for maximum impact.
Recommending for employment, and coordinating hiring for direct reports.
Providing supervision to direct reports, including formative feedback and timely performance evaluations and/or demonstrating attention to quality enhancement by improving efficiencies and effectiveness in recordkeeping, workflow and compliance.
Leading the work of others;
delegating tasks and authority appropriately and/or establishing procedures to guide system and departmental work;
monitoring and demonstrating effective decision-making strategies in order to meet project deadlines.
Demonstrate Management Skills by:
Managing department resources effectively and efficiently.
Ensuring compliance with applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
Applying effective decision-making processes to problems or situations.
Developing a coordinated yearlong schedule of testing events and activities.
Supervising and/or conducting activities associated with the acquisition of materials, production of materials, distribution of tests, collection and management of results, computer analysis;
preparing communicationof and distribution of results in tabular and graphic formats.
Managing district-wide testing and state standardized testing required in support of state accountability legislation, including collaborating with cross-department colleagues to facilitate test administration trainings for school assessment coordinators and creating support systems to ensure successful, accurate, and secure testing environments.
Developing and implementing procedures to assure successful, secure, and timely completion of assessments.
Providing a high level of expertise involving use of testing systems and LMS use.
Evaluating, overseeing, installing and maintaining hardware and software needed to meet departmental and district goals involving standardized test scoring and statistical analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’ s Degree.
Previous experience in the areaof database management, education research, and student assessment.
Advanced training in computer systems and application software.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:
High level of professional customer service and human relations skills in assisting, screening, handling and dealing with informational requests of diverse populations.
Performing work assignments requiring attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Proficiency in standard productivity software (ACCESS, Word, Excel, and Google).
Ability to adhere to district policies and Minnesota laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to assessments, record keeping, data processing, and data privacy.
Salary:
View salary grids on Pages 3 - 4, Section 1. of the Management Personnel I-M agreement-Classification:
L-1a, $78,447 - $90,657
Work schedule:
225 days/year, Full-Time
