Job Opportunity:
Instrumentation/Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for the plant, including electrical, PLC, DCS, pneumatic circuits, and networking for automated chemical processes.
Ensure control systems comply with regulatory requirements, including SIL/LOPA assessments.
Create and maintain instrument and electrical drawings for control systems, including motor elementaries and instrument loop sheets.
Support the maintenance team with assigned work, breakdowns, and emergency work orders.
Maintain documentation of PLC programs and machine control drawings from equipment suppliers.
Train and mentor technicians and technical staff on control system strategies and installations.
Develop and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, working with internal teams and external vendors.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience in Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation in chemical manufacturing plants.
Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation Controls.
Proficiency in IT and OT network communication protocols.
Understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques in ICS environments.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for ICS environments and PSM/DHS regulations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with eligibility to work now and in the future without sponsorship.
