Controller

Job Summary:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and supports strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights to senior management.
Manage internal and external audits.
Supervise and develop accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
MBA or CPA preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
