Timken Motor and Crane, Stultz Electric brand, is seeking a Control Panel Assembler for the Portland, ME service center responsible for building panels including gathering appropriate parts for the panel build, reading electrical schematics, creating markers and labels, wiring, and preparing the panel for testing.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend electrical schematics/ layout drawings and assemble panels in accordance with specifications

  • Indentify components required for builds and maintain appropriate inventory of consumable items

  • Use various tools (drills, taps, punches, crimpers, strippers, measuring device, labeling, etc.) to lay out cabinet holes, cutouts, and back plate components per layout drawings and specification

  • Work in a clean and organized manner to ensure quality products and safety protocols are met

  • Shipping and receiving of components and finished units

  • Support field service calls to customers as needed

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays when necessary to meet production demands is required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate must be proficient in multiple craft skills needed to assemble control panels

  • Applicant must have VFD and motor knowledge

  • Applicant must have both verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
