Job Summary
We are hiring a Contract Review Consultant to provide contract review solutions to meet client needs. The consultant will analyze and provide suggested changes to insurance requirements in clients contracts to reduce clients contractual risk.

The consultant will also use Marsh contract review resources to provide clients with contract review templates and tools to help simplify and streamline the review process.
This position requires a general understanding of a broad range of commercial lines insurance for mid-sized to large commercial clients, and in-depth knowledge of commercial casualty insurance policies.

We will count on you for the following responsibilities:
Review insurance requirements in contracts and provide suggested changes based on the clients insurance program, research on best practices, and the consultants experience working on contract reviews for other clients.
Prepare client-customized contract review tools and insurance requirement templates as needed to simplify and streamline the contract review process and reduce clients contractual risk.
Provide guidance to clients on contract review questions.
Comply with company policy and procedures for maintaining correspondence, timekeeping, and expense reporting.
Client Service:
Assess and respond to clients contract review needs in a thoughtful and timely manner.
Coordinate with colleagues throughout the Marsh network and perform research across various technology platforms as needed to address clients needs.
Use Marsh systems to organize and track contract reviews.
Respect and maintain client confidentiality.
What you need to have:
At least 3-10 years of relevant experience at an insurance carrier in corporate risk management managing commercial liability insurance or law firm, including Liability commercial insurance lines, including commercial general liability, cyber liability, professional liability, umbrella, property policies
Bachelor degree or equivalent
General knowledge of various types of ISO policy forms and endorsements
What makes you stand out?
Experience in insurance coverage analysis and/or placement
Proficient in company sanctioned software and systems, Microsoft Office Products especially Word and Excel, as well as relevant use of Internet.
Proficient in English language (speaking, reading and writing).
Must have:
A thorough understanding of various types of commercial insurance policies, particularly commercial casualty insurance, is essential. This includes knowledge of liability commercial insurance lines such as commercial general liability, cyber liability, professional liability, umbrella, and property policies.
Strong skills in contract analysis and review are crucial. Candidates should be able to assess insurance requirements within contracts, identify potential risks, and suggest amendments to mitigate those risks. Experience in drafting contract language or utilizing contract review tools and templates to streamline the process is highly valued.
The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients is key. Contract Review Consultants should be responsive to client needs, proactive in addressing concerns, and capable of providing excellent customer service throughout the contract review process.
Experience in insurance coverage analysis and/or placement.
