Your new role
As our new Impact Assessment Consultant, you will be part of the global marine team to provide technical support on/with multi-media permitting and large-scale impact assessment projects, ecological services, and oil and gas/power/mining sector clients. As a Consultant, you will contribute your leadership, the project teams, and technical consulting skills to support the growth of Ramboll’s business and client base, while networking with the global Ramboll team to share multi-disciplinary resources and best practices across the industry. Your key responsibilities will be:
Provide technical support on environmental impact assessment (EIA, EA, EIS, EISHA) and related activities in support of Ramboll key sectors (i.E., oil and gas, power, and renewable energy).
Perform project delivery activities such as report writing, data collection and analysis, survey field work, and literature review.
Support multi-media permitting and compliance associated with development projects with an emphasis on international, U.S. Federal, and statewide permitting.
Directly assist multiple projects within client’s scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
Collaborate with other practitioners to execute impact assessment projects (services including environmental impact assessment, facility siting &
permitting, risk assessment and water resources management).
Build strong collaborative relationships with other Ramboll employees.

About you

These include:
BS/MS in biology, environmental studies, marine biology, chemistry or related field.
2 to 4 years of consulting or relatable experience, impact assessment and multi-media permitting experience.
High degree of technical competence and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices, with a solid grasp of the key impact assessment and management issues within the power/oil &
gas/mining sector.
Key understanding of marine systems, environmental science, and ecology.
GIS skills (understanding and reading) preferred.
Proficiency in statistical analysis of ecological data preferred.
Well-developed teambuilding and influencing skills;
unquestioned integrity;
and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address client and business needs and challenges.

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $73,000 - $78,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
