Position Highlights
Start Date:
Assignment is scheduled to start in the early May and complete in October.
Work Week:
Five 8-hour shifts per week
Salary Range:
$125,000 - $135,000 based upon experience
Overtime:
Straight time overtime
Per Diem:
No per diem offered. CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL
Experience:
10 years’ experience in managing industrial chemical plant projects
Responsibilities
Manage contractors performing structural, mechanical, and E//I work in an operating chemical plant.
Responsible for the daily coordination of contractor work along with assisting with the issuance of daily work permits and assuring that the work is performed in a safe manner.
Manage schedule and quality requirements
Assist owner in review of any contractor change orders.
Supervise and oversee the construction phases of complex capital projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure effective project execution.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost control measures to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Manage and lead project teams, including construction personnel, and provide guidance and support throughout the construction process.
Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Facilitate effective communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
Candidates must be local to Wickliffe, Kentucky.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing industrial chemical plant projects.
Fluent in Microsoft office software.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Knowledge of Procore software is a plus
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials, as well as industry regulations and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
