Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Attorney. As a Construction Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in construction-related legal matters, including contract disputes, construction defect claims, and insurance coverage disputes.
Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of construction litigation, including client communication, legal research, case strategy development, and court appearances.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in the construction field.
Collaborate with internal teams and external experts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience litigating construction claims in court and arbitration settings such as those dealing with design error, work quality, delay, job cost accounting, or surety bond related disputes
Candidates must possess strong academic credentials, have excellent communication and writing skills, have excellent drafting skills, and will work as part of a close-knit team.
Juris Doctorate degree required.
Admission to practice law in Tennessee is mandatory.
