Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a Construction Inspector for our Columbus IN Field office and/or Plainfield, IN office.   Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Inspect road and bridge project construction for compliance with plans and specifications
  • dot- Work as team with other inspection/supervision staff
  • Perform Daily documentation of Construction Activities and pay quantities
  • Perform field testing and sampling of construction materials
  • dot- Assist in the preparation of contract final records

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fully Certified in all Six Disciplines of the INDOT Certified Technician Program
  • Minimum 5 years experience inspection road and bridge projects
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as part of a larger Team
  • Must possess the ability to adapt to a fast-paced project environment

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working as an Inspector on INDOT  Projects
  • SiteManager Certified
  • Knowledge of INDOT Standards, Specifications, Policies and Procedures
