We're seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to facilitate the operations, maintenance, and enhancement of our federal client's third-party project management software! This enterprise-wide platform manages more than 20,000 real estate projects throughout the country and is relied upon by more than 5,000 users. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define, document, and manage changes to software configurations and connected IT infrastructure, ensuring proper documentation and implementation.
Record and report configuration status. Conduct audits to ensure compliance and integrity.
Maintain accurate configuration documentation and manage CM tools.
Collaborate with federal teams to manage configurations and provide training on CM processes and tools.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards/policies and mitigate configuration management risks.
Monitor CM activities for continuous improvement and support incident management with accurate configuration data, when needed.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related discipline.
5 years of configuration management experience in large-scale IT implementations.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust with the federal government.
