Job Description
Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
Act as liaison between various departments to meet client needs and securing MOUs with existing and new organizations that can provide on-job training to our participants
Conduct searches for suitable job openings and trainings for clients, comparing client qualifications with employer’s requirements
Assigning clients to approved community service sites
Monitoring client engagement at a community service site and/or tracking attendance
Collaborating with Employment coaches to assist with managing a caseload of clients assigned to community service/work experience activities
Establish rapport with area businesses;
maintain on-going relationships with businesses
Works with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives
Coordinate job fairs and employer hiring events
Enlist cooperation of community and business leaders to help increase awareness of available services in the community
Communicate with other departments and management to develop strategy and solutions
Represent WeCARE services to the community, host roundtables and monthly community-based organization meetings
