Job Description
Responsible for leading the commercial building design team and driving practice area goals for the company’s commercial, retail and multi-family residential building practice. This position will be part of the senior management team, working directly with architects, owners and contractors;
writing engineering proposals and negotiating contracts;
performing structural analysis and design for all aspects of building structures;
leading a team of structural engineers, technicians and designers including:
drawing and specification production, construction administration, site observations and building assessments. Will also serve as a coach and mentor to junior level engineers and perform independent reviews of drawings and calculations done by others.
