Commercial Hvac Estimator

Our clients company specializes in design build, mechanical, and plumbing building systems. They are a leading provider in the industry, known for their expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Currently, they are seeking a Commercial Estimator to join their team.
This role will involve working closely with the president or account executive to prepare and quote costs for various projects.
Commercial Estimator Job Responsibilities Collaborate with the president or account executive to gather project requirements and specifications.
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to determine accurate cost estimates.
Conduct research to identify material and labor costs, ensuring competitive pricing.
Prepare detailed estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates.
Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in commercial estimating.
Strong background in commercial construction, preferably as an HVAC Foreman or journeyman.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and previous experience in HVAC estimating for construction projects.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting project specifications.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
