Responsibilities
Use data analysis tools and techniques to collect and consolidate commercial data from various sources
Develop data visualizations, charts, dashboards, etc. to present data in a concise and understandable manner
Identify gaps in commercial data quality and suggest and implement corrective actions
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to identify business opportunities and communicate key insights and findings to collaborators
Translate analytical insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for local and global stakeholders, in particular marketing directors and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
Work closely with marketing directors and CRO to develop metrics and methods of analysis
Work closely with CRO ahead of board meetings and other strategic reviews to analyze and explain past and future trends in the sales pipeline (e.G., win rate vs competitors, justifying gaps between current &
budgeted order intake, historical probability to close an opportunity at a certain stage, etc.)
Drive efforts to enable stakeholders to interpret analysis results independently
Suggest testing strategies (e.G., A/B testing) for marketing campaigns and analyze their performance to inform ongoing lead generation strategies
Support sales forecasting activities (S&
OP, FP&
A, Business Plans)
Track and forecast market trends
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in an analytical field (e.G. Data Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, etc.)
Prior experience analyzing marketing data required
Experience using a variety of dashboarding and reporting tools including Power BI to build analytics reports and visualizations
Familiarity with an analytics programming language (e.G. Python) to perform data manipulation tasks and analysis preferred
Strong usage of Excel
Knowledge of CRM technologies and data such as Salesforce
Experience with databases and database query languages (e.G., SQL) helpful, but not required.
Any exposure to the industrial automation, materials handling, warehousing robotics &
technology, etc. industries would be a big plus
