Interco has an opening for a Commercial Assistant in theIndustrial Metals Trading Department at the company's Commercial Operations office on The Hill in St. Louis, Missouri. We are looking for someone who wants to be great and work for a great company.
This job consists of working directly with and for the VP of Commercial Operations and the VP of Business Development assisting in buying and sales efforts of commodity-based metals domestically and around the world.An outstanding candidate should be able to write articulate and succinct emails, process and analyze information and synthesize both pricing and market information back to VP and the rest of the commercial team.
The ideal candidate will be results-oriented with a successful professional and personal track recorddemonstratingthe ability to work both in a team environment and alone. This personispassionate,resourceful, perceptive, dependable, and driven with a desire to learn about and excel in an exploding industry. This candidate will have a yearning to develop and cultivate strong business development skills under the expert tutelage of a renowned manager.This position is the training ground and precursor to the very lucrative Trader position within the company.
