Commercial Area Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Area Technician that will provide stellar customer service by responding to emergency calls promptly and providing routine maintenance to help fix the HVAC system for our guests.
As a Commercial Area Technician, you will:
Check and makes major repairs to plumbing systems, gas lines, toilets, sinks, refrigeration units, stoves and ovens, pumps, and laundry equipment
Check and makes major repairs to electrical systems such as power and lighting systems
Communicate and receive information to/from manufacturers and vendors for pricing on material, troubleshooting trouble to related equipment
Complete material requisition for materials and places orders with completed purchase orders
Create and maintain 52 weekly preventative maintenance programs on all kitchen &
laundry equipment and assist other areas with the implementation of preventative maintenance program
Ensure that all kitchen &
laundry equipment is functioning properly and that preventative maintenance measures are performed to preserve the hotel and keep product quality standards
Monitor mechanical electrical and water usage to ensure effective energy management
Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions and or requests to ensure guest satisfaction
Give and receive, to and from maintenance requests and completion of individual assignments
