ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate multiple CNC mills.
- Set up, select and change tooling according to work order packets.
- Care and basic maintenance of machines and tooling.
- Inspect/measure parts using calipers, veneers, micrometers &
gauges;
read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Responsible for quality of the parts produced.
2nd shift:
2:
30pm-12:
30am Mon.-Fri.
Pay rate:
$22/hr.-$30/hr. based on experience.

Requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with CNC Mills.
- Experience working with Mazak machines is preferred;
other experience with Haas, Mori Seiki, Tsugami, Miyano or Swiss machines is helpful.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tolerances and tooling.
- Ability to read/write English to understand work orders, routings, blueprints and drawings.
- Skilled in basic shop math.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
CNC training preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Inspect/measure parts using calipers, veneers, micrometers &
gauges;

- Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations (i.E. lockout/tagout, machine guarding).
- Effective communication skills:
must be able read and write clearly and concisely in English and understand/follow written work instructions and company procedures.
- Ability to use company communication tools, including email and Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be capable of lifting/moving up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift and standing/walking/bending/squatting regularly throughout the workday.
