Responsibilities:
Design and program comprehensive CNC solutions based on engineering technical specifications and blueprints.
Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency and optimize machine performance.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve programming errors during the production process.
Conduct simulations and tests of new programs and configurations to prevent errors and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of all programming codes and changes for future reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Technology, or related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in CNC programming, including extensive use of CAD/CAM software.
In-depth knowledge of machine shop practices, metal properties, and machining processes.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in technical drawing and planning.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and machinists to translate technical instructions into practical CNC programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certification in programming software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
Experience working in lead-based product manufacturing or similar industries.
Demonstrated ability to improve machining processes through innovative programming techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex processes in an understandable manner.
Proactive in adopting new technologies and software to stay ahead in the field.
