Pemko ASSA ABLOY, an industry leader in high-quality architectural door accessories, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with CNC Machinist setup experience and the ability to write G-Code to join their Memphis, TN team. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will spend 50% of your time on the shop floor overseeing projects from soup to nuts including everything from working on designs, setting up machines, and evaluating overall workflow.
If you have at least 2 years of CNC setup experience and the ability to write G-Code, this is an opportunity you need to explore!

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving projects throughout value stream to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
  • Write procedures, investigates, establish protocols, reports change controls to support client programs
  • Plan, conduct, or coordinate relatively straight-forward engineering analyses and;
    tests
  • Provide day to day production support where needed
  • Create modify and manage bills of materials
  • Provide technical leadership and ownership of assigned unit operations
  • Manage change control for assigned projects
  • Identify and initiate process improvements in conjunction with the Product Engineering team
  • Work with production, automation and project engineering groups on process improvement projects
  • Occasionally travel to Somerset, PA as part of production transitions there
