What you will be doing
As a Cloud Security Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust security governance frameworks, policies and procedures to safeguard our cloud environments.
Develop, implement, and maintain cloud security governance frameworks aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Create and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and guidelines to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities within cloud environments.
Monitor and enforce compliance with relevant regulations (e.G., GDPR, DORA) and industry standards (e.G., ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CSA) applicable to cloud security.
Contribute to awareness and training programs to educate stakeholders on cloud security best practices and policies.
Contribute to the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies to enhance the security posture of cloud environments.
Continuously assess and improve cloud security governance processes and practices based on emerging threats, industry trends, and lessons learned.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or the combination of demonstrable relevant experience and skills.
Experience of working with cloud technology, including a strong understanding of the concepts and deployment models
Any experience in generating analytics, reporting and dashboards in Power BI or similar
Experience in Risk or Governance roles, ideally focused on cloud but can be from traditional/on prem background
One or more certifications such as, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CCSK or any CSP security certifications.
Applied knowledge of security risk frameworks, for example, COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, CIS Controls and Cloud Controls Matrix
In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
