Isobar Public Sector is seeking a Cloud Architect who enjoys the challenge of building automated solutions for continuous delivery of large-scale, highly available enterprise applications. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a DevSecOps model playing an active role with software developers in building solutions.

What You’ll Do
Develop secure cloud architecture and technical designs for Amazon Web Services
Collaborate with customer and cross-discipline team to gather insight and deliver integration strategies, infrastructures, and solutions that deliver targeted outcomes.
Manage full lifecycle of feature development from concept to production that leverage cloud-native platforms and capabilities along with 3rd party solutions that comply with security and compliance requirements.
Manage, deploy, and validate IT solutions and assets using DevSecOps and cloud engineering best practices and tooling including Agile delivery, CI/CD, containerization, and automation to deliver agility, reliability, quality, and security at scale.
Stay current of trends and innovations in the Cloud / DevSecOps space, bringing opportunities for improvement to the technical teams and leading their implementation
Define multi-phase process, application, and data cloud modernization strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify and implement opportunities for automating existing processes in order to streamline operations and support functions.
Ensure that cloud solutions comply with NIST-based security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Implement security controls, encryption mechanisms, and identity and access management (IAM) policies to protect sensitive data.
Provide team leadership and mentoring to other cloud engineers and support project management activities including planning, estimating, and tracking.
Who You Are
A US Citizen and possess a Secret Security Clearance.
Residency in the US required due to clearance requirements.
Required Certifications:
At least 1 AWS Associate or above certification
8+ years of experience developing web applications or designing and administering the systems that support them.
6+ years of experience managing and administering AWS cloud hosting environments with DoD experience preferred.
4+ years of experience building and administering containers and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
4+ years of experience scripting common languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
Knowledge of security review processes and procedures with ability to support by providing requested details on solution design as directed.
Expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving cloud-hosted applications and services.
Influential communicator, able to influence client actions and decisions.
Knowledge of and experience with promotion and deployment strategies for applications between different development and production environments
Experience performing needs assessments, design, application testing and integration, production cutover, change management, and capacity planning.
