Job Description
Bluegrass Orthopaedics is hiring for a Float Clinical Technician in Lexington, KY. As a Float Clinical Technician for Bluegrass Orthopaedics, your job duties include:


- Assisting the physician/physician assistant in exam rooms as needed
- Completing reviews for scheduled clinics
- Obtaining vital signs and brief histories related to office visits
- Covering front desk/registration duties
The Float Clinical Technician will also:

- Document patient medical information in EHR
- Maintain supplies
- Perform periodic cleaning as delegated
- Take telephone messages
- Provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
The Float Clinical Technician reports to the Clinical Supervisor/Manager of Clinical Operations. Bluegrass Orthopaedics has been serving Central and Southeastern Kentucky for over 25 years. We offer a variety of services for all areas of sports medicine, total joint care, industrial medicine, foot care, ankle care, and hand care. We pride ourselves in treating athletes of all ages - from the youth sports athlete, to the weekend warrior, the industrial athlete, to the senior athlete.
Job Requirements:

- Ability to obtain patient vital signs
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
- Strong communication skills
- Preferred completion of accredited training program for clinical assisting or a combination of education/work experience in the clinical setting of a medical office.
