Clinical Social Work Lead Educator

Job Description
I. General Summary
Coordinates and directs the functioning of a clinical treatment team providing inpatient and outpatient care. Provides clinical supervision and consultation to staff and provide advanced social work services and case management to the most difficult patients.
II. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsible for the first line administrative supervision of a clinical treatment team of approximately 4-10 social work staff and students.
Assists departmental management in evaluation of problem areas in clinical functioning. Makes recommendations regarding program and staff assignments to the Director.
Approves staff requests for leave and arranges for adequate clinical coverage when team members are absent. Arranges for on-call coverage among team members. Orients new workers for on-call coverage.
