Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Clerical Assistant with basic accounting experience to support our administrative and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of clerical tasks and assist with basic accounting duties. Key Responsibilities:
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
Maintain and update electronic and paper records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Answer and direct phone calls, and respond to emails and other correspondence.
Assist with data entry and ensure the accuracy of information in various systems.
Support the accounting department with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports.
Assist in preparing financial documents, reports, and statements.
Manage office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office equipment.
Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the office.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent;
additional education orcoursework in accounting is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role;
basic accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
