Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Pickup and Delivery drivers to join our dedicated team as a local driver staying within 100 miles of the Madison terminal. If you're a skilled driver looking for a rewarding career in the trucking industry, we want to hear from you!
Work Schedule:
8 am start, Monday-Friday
45-55 hours/week
Pay:
$27-29 based on experience and endorsements
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain commercial vehicles in compliance with company and industry regulations.
Transport goods safely to their destination, ensuring timely deliveries.
Follow route and schedule to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
Handle unexpected situations, such as adverse weather conditions or traffic, with professionalism and adaptability.
