AECOM is seeking out a well qualified and motivatedSenior Civil Designerwith a background in transportation / multimodal design for an amazing role in ourDenver, COoffice.
Senior technical resource which will serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing roadway / highway / multimodal PS&
E packages.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Initiate and create project designs and drawings/plans for transportation and/or civil design projects
Perform detailed design including preparation of complete calculation packages and development of details.
Lead drafting team for preparation of drawings from early stages of the design to the final contract plans.
Understand the importance of review and quality control and able to perform review of design calculations and drawings and specifications
Prepare and contribute in the development and implementation of technical approach in projects incollaboration with the Project Manager
Oversee the work of less experienced designers.
