Job Description
AECOMis seekingCivil Engineerto be based in Glen Allen,Virginia.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provide technical design for a variety of civil engineering projects (design topics include roadway, drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and traffic analysis)
Prepare plans and drawings using VDOT, FHWA, and AASHTO standards
Supports project managers in execution of all types of civil engineering projects
Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered during the design process
Coordinate with other disciplines and technical staff across the company
Participates in quality control reviews of project deliverables (calculations and drawings)
Develops construction cost estimates for projects
