Civil Engineer In Training

Job Description
This is an entry level position for an Engineer-In-Training (EIT). We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and wants to get their Professional Engineering License and further their career and knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering specializing in Land Development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design of land development projects
Basic comprehension of fundamental civil engineering concepts required
Interpretation of design drawings and survey data
Preparation of construction documents including:
paving, drainage, utility, detention, water, sanitary sewer and storm plans
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare design drawings
Prepares design computations and quality estimates
Skills:
Possesses ability to analyze project needs
Outstanding communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
Works well in a team environment
